Dave on BBC Essex Radio

BBC Essex Radio has been doing a series about towns and communities in Essex. On Tuesday 8th Jan it was Waltham Abbey’s turn.

Dave Plummer spoke for a bit about buses, litter picking and the Next distribution centre application.

It’s a really interesting few hours with contributions from:

  • local fundraiser Shane Yerrell, who was co-opted onto the Town Council in August,
  • Tony Connor from our wonderful District Museum
  • Jamie Steed from Essex Arrows Baseball Club
  • Len Stuart, Stella Morris and Michael Seymour from the Royal Gunpowder Mills

This is Dave’s contribution:

Please listen to the whole thing if you’ve got the time  – it’s genuinely interesting.
