Your Council – Your Meeting

Waltham Abbey Greens believe that, wherever possible, decisions that affect you should be made with you.

That’s why we encourage you to attend Town Council meetings.

If you’d like to discuss an agenda item you can do so at the meeting – just put your hand up when the agenda item is being discussed to let the meeting chair know that you would like to make a contribution.

Alternatively you can contact your ward councillor(s) and/or the Town Clerk to ask them to raise any points you have at the meeting.

You can also ask questions about issues which aren’t on the agenda so long as they’re relevant to the committee/sub-committee in question.

Live-streaming

The Town Council doesn’t yet have the facilities to live-stream/record our meetings ourselves. Cllr Dave Plummer live-streams meetings when he can but it’s not always possible.

However, you can take a mobile device/video camera along to live-stream Waltham Abbey Town Council’s meetings yourself! Just make sure the you inform the meeting chair and the Town Clerk with plenty of notice – ideally a few days before.
